Hyman gets more points by playing his style. If he backs off he'll be meh. - Zezel
I honestly thought him doing the dirty work was why the oilers signed him. That way he plays on McDavid’s wing and helps him avoid doing it so he gets to primarily focus on producing offensively. |

Yeah Hyman will get the puck and give it to McD and go to the net and he'll have a career year probably. |

Unless he gets hurt
But like I said I can see him having a couple more good years but if he continues that style of game he’ll be hitting the age where it begins to catch up with him.
Like I said, if he doesn’t play a rough game it will be interesting to see how it turns out |

Yup, nothing against him at all either
But that salary and length of contract were too much imo |

Another hilarious thing the kids today won’t understand:
Up until recently, it was illegal to report results of east coast ridings until the last poll in BC closed.
The rule actually made sense, but the internet destroyed it. |

I also love when they put up on the board when one poll has reported.
“Oh my god, Bill Smith has 35 votes, and Wendy Jones only has 22 votes!” |

That’s is definitely what they signed him for. To use him exactly like Toronto did. I’m sure he will play that game too - just that one way he made a comment stood out a bit. Mind you it was media day and he had probably answers the same 5 questions for 12 hrs. |

Ugh, yeah I can see how he’d start answering those questions in positive ways that won’t lead to further questions he’d have to answer a number of times as well |

I know Dozzer wants to keep this space free of politics, but I do have to point this out:
In Beaches-East York at the moment, jennifer Moxon of the Communist Party has 9 votes, while Philip Fernandez of the Marxist-Leninist Party has 3 votes.
I know there’s a lot of water under that bridge, but if they had healed that historical rift, they would be sitting pretty with 12 votes right now. |

Ha ha ha.
My riding had the Marijuana Party on the ballot. Considering every other store in Toronto is now a weed store, what is their platform I wonder? Or is just voting for a party with weed? I would have voted for the Pizza Party.
Dozzer, this post is not about politics, it's about pizza, and dope.

Maoists and Leninists uniting? Are you crazy? That would be like the Leafs putting a former Hab out early in an overtime in a critical playoff game. Insanity. You going to make Leon Trotsky coach of the Islanders next? |

There’s a guy running in Toronto Centre for the Animal Protection Party of Canada.
So far, he has 9 votes.

I think a cool documentary would be interviewing people who go through the trouble of getting on national election ballots with no chance of winning.
You could interview the Animal Protection guy, the Communist party, Stockwell Day, Michael Ignatiaf... |

History, not politics
Do you remember the Social Credit Party, the Creditists? Real Caoutte? In their campaign ads, the guy would stand in front of a blackboard in a white short sleeved shirt with a tie and a piece of chalk and try to explain some arcane principle of social credit while making veiled comments about the global (you know who) banking system. |
