Much better than a knee for what it is worth. He can expect a full recovery from that injury. Knees are a little more tricky.

Didn’t appear to be a knee when I saw it. First thing that came to my mind was a high-ankle sprain.

Those hurt. Thankfully it’ll be weeks and not months.

However, those can be tricky, too. They can linger.

Bill, neither game included Elliot Desnoyers. Was he a healthy scratch?

No. He had off-season hip surgery. He is said to be close to being cleared to play but not cleared yet. Is able to skate at practice and do drills with teammates.

JD250: Bless me MJL, for I have sinned. I posted in a hockey forum that I saw Morgan Frost loose a bunch of faceoffs, when the stat sheet said otherwise. I am sorry for my sins.

MJL: For the confession of your sins, say Phillipe Meyers was unjustly traded one hundred times, followed by saying Mattias Ekholm could never help the Flyers one hundred times.

I'll just settle for him recanting that his player evaluation skills are as good as any GM

How do you know that I every time I saw Frost take a faceoff and lose he wasn't taking it from the left side as Bill pointed out? You just don't like it that I am right waaaaaay more than you are when it comes to my reads on players or what the team is likely to do to improve, as was the case this off season.

So when watching the game, you closed your eyes when there was a faceoff on the right side? I like how it actually is just fine. Predicting what the team was likely to do was like predicting the sun would come up. Not to mention that I never predicted what the team would do. Hey, but continue to live in your fantasy world.
