You hate Hughes as much as I hated gudbranson, so I get it. I don't think Hughes was good defensively at all last year, but I also still think he's just as important to this team as pettersson is. I also think he can be better defensively when he has a partner who can play to his strengths like tanev did.

Cool, I don't think he's one of the top C's in the league. There are several I'd put ahead of him in a separate tier. I do think he's closer to that top tier than Hughes is though.
