Yeah it was nice to watch a little hockey. UPL was solid when he needed to be. That 2 on 1 save in the 1st was a very good stop.

Peterka Weissbach Samuelsson all looked good. Laaksonen looks to be rounding out. Why not, go get a look at some of the future. And Murray looked good to, really needs to keep working on his skating, he's got the hands, and is definitely not afraid to park his big A$$ in front.

Honestly, I don't know much about Edler, is Miller an upgrade?

It would seem to me that Miller is a goner during or after this season anyway. If LA views him as an upgrade...then hold 50% of Miller and take Edler back as he is an UFA at seasons end..as is Brown and Lucic too.

Lastly, I am not concerned about the Sabres this season. Move someone from L to R to cover for a throw-away season...next season, go get a 1st pairing partner for Dahlin.

Buf easily takes this imo, if that gives you a thought on where things stand with the other two. And if they did this, I would for sure OS Thomas for a second compensation contract. Buf would have 4 firsts, get a guy you know can play 2/3 line minutes in the future
