So we aren’t going to consider his performance overseas in the Austrian league and DEL while Quinn had like 20+ other teenagers out score him in the AHL ? - Pegullaville
Admittedly late, but
Are we also ignoring comp, merely he was hurt in the WJT and the AHL season, requiring surgery to repair.?
You of all people absolutely knew that, so why the troll job? |

It's a lot less about Quinn himself and more about who else was there.
I'd be absolutely shocked if Lundell isn't a much more valuable player. Rossi too.
It's perplexing to justify taking him over Perfetti as well |

Agreed. I was so excited when both Rossi and Perfetti were sitting on the board when the Sabres had the next selection. Quinn could turn out to be a nice player but when we skipped over the Centre's left on the board (no pun intended), it was a head-scratcher to me.
Time will tell with Quinn. Let's hope he pans out to be at least as good as those 2 or 3 players. Otherwise this might turn into another Nylander draft for the Sabres.

If you’re healthy enough to put the sweater on, you’ll be judged on that performance.
If it was that severe they would have shut him down earlier. - Pegullaville
He was pulled "early", before the NHL season ended.
He had an surgical operation.
Not sure what serious represents if that isn't it. |

Think it was the worst game Dawkins has had in his career. |

Watching NFL Live, and they just commented how Allen had the lowest QBR in the league against the zone last week
Was also ranked bottom5 in the NFL in completion %
and bottom 5 in yards per attempt
Hopefully it was just bc Pittsburgh’s defense is that good,
and not that teams are figuring him out - jdfitz77
Joe Buscagli figured out in an article 3 weeks ago. The premiss of the article was we could see a regression in Allen's play this season.
The reasons...
A) below level success against the zone.
B) inaccurate throws in the middle of the field on short and medium range patterns...inaccurate in terms of the throws resulting in very low YAC due to receivers needing to adjust to where the ball was thrown (high, low, short, behind) that effectively made them stop progress upfield.
Josh will need to learn, improve and overcome. |

Plus they had 6 holding penalties that killed some drives and took away a few chunk plays, the offense just needs to reset. |

Then say it that way. The post I responded to was his performance at WJT and AHL last season.
Then the goalposts moved again. |

Me as well.
I was all over Rossi, pissed they didn't select him.
But to ridicule a guy for his production while hurt and needing surgery (eventually) is sophmorific at best. |

Sooo....Eichel's most likely playing for us this year, right ? The season will start, and Jack will still be a Buffalo Sabre.
IF traded, I don't see a trade until after surgery/rehab - and he plays in some actual games. |

Good Read. - Buff36
I’m glad Power is returning to Michigan
Let him try for a Nat’l championship down there
Better than him just getting whooped nightly up here |
