the reality is what core is still left other then teows and kane who are not that old.

We have upgraded at a Min Goalie by 3-4 wins, and 1st and 2nd paring by 3-4 wins and the bottom 6 is way better:

the opening day bottom 6 forwards included: wallmark pirri janmark, highmore, kampf, carpenter, I dont think a single player from that list would be in the top 12 this year on opening day.

Lazerus tweeted training camp opens on September 23 10am at Fifth Third Arena. Following days also at 10am. Open to public but must wear a mask.

If any of these guys are outplaying the vets the Hawks have, this will be an absolute miserable season, and there will not be enough ledges to stand on. It's not like the Hawks are bursting at the seams with high level talent. Sure, it would be nice to get a surprise or two, but by and large, most/all of these players need to continue to grow their games in order to be even considered a call up.

Rearranging the deck chairs on the 4th line is not going to move this team anywhere.

Bowman is not a coach he's an office guy. He lists "High Proficiency in Faxing" in LinkedIn.

That’s exactly right, and probably the reason that the President and CEO(John McDonough)is no longer employed by the Blackhawks. They got rid of the predator and the CEO, nothing else to see here.

That was done by a couple Yankees in the 70's and didn't go too well.
In the end Mike and Marilyn couldn’t find happiness that lasted and broke things off rather quickly. Fritz and Susanne on the other hand are still together to this day.

Although Bowman overpaid in his major trade, monetheless, thiis team actually is a breathe of fresh air if you were digging in for another year of sacrifice to the kids developing

With a healthy Toews and Fleury's somewhat surprisre addition, the new look team actually can compete and win. Can come from behind. Can actually beat good teams even if outplayed. We have the personnel and experienced enough to compete against anyone. Sure there are better teams than us but we can stand strong and might even win sometimes. Never was going to happen if Bowman had stayed the course on major youth infusion.

I am skeptical how much some prospects or young players could help this season

The opportunity is there I bet more for a Nylander and Rockford forwards to Inject a bit of not really expected but not too surprised help. They have it in them They need to run with the opportunity.

Nylander as secondary scoring The Rockford forwards offer up with grit, effort, some of them descent two way game. They each therefore could kindle the new fire burning on this team

Mitchell could come in maybe and stick but he needs to get his act together for a while in the AHL. Someone mentioned Borgstrom might impress with stickhandling more than scoring. Not a great endorsement. Actually I would like McLaughlin to get serious. A skill guy lile him could bring some strong scoring opportunities
