Think of it this way...if the Habs had a 27 going on 28 year old C, who has a record over the last few years of being a 30+g 60-70p avg guy, how much would you want back for him?
The Habs just gave a 1st and a 2nd for Dvorak...does that price for Hertl really seem THAT crazy?
Edit: oh and Hertl is 6'2", 215 lbs - Takemedrunkimhome
I wouldn't want anything back for him, because I'd be keeping him
but yeah I agree, I was just kidding around, it just made me realize considering the rumors about the habs' interest in Hertl it could be too much of a steep price for them, depending on who the high-end prospect and other player are... |

#CBJ have added coach Steve McCarthy as assistant coach, replacing Sylvain Lefebvre, who resigned because he refused to get a COVID 19 vaccine per the #NHL’s mandate.

Whether or not the Sharks get that pricr or as French suggested choose worthwhile players/prospects is a whole other argument...but yeah having a big scoring C still in his prime would be sweet so I get it being expensive |

it's baffling... I'd be curious to hear what he has to say about it, although I'm guessing nothing good would come out of it lol

So the argument I'd heard all off season was Nagy and Pace want to keep him on the bench for the year to create job security and force extensions...if there's even a shred of truth to that they should be poop canned already. I get why the 9ers are slow playing Lance, I don't get the Bears plan at all - Takemedrunkimhome
meh. fields isn't ready. they are worried about the o-line not being good enough to protect him. |

I'm pretty sure I told you I didn't watch the football...but I should have guessed considering it's the Jets.

jenkins had back surgery in the preseason. they signed jason peters and he lasted a half. the back-up was injured 5 plays later and they were down to the 3rd string guy. they o-line was okay. the middle is pretty good. they ran the ball well and kep dalton clean until the last couple of plays when it was 34-14. donald was a non-factor until then. |

On an 82 game avg his numbers the last 3 seasons are 71.69 p and 32.8 g. So yeah his early career was less, his scoring prime is more, how long that prime lasts is debatable. He doesn't take many penalties and his last playoffs he put up 15 p and 10 g in 19 games. Either way he beats the poop outta the options the Habs have at 2C |
