Hey Bo, I like your game. Politicians tell me who to vote for and I ignore them. You got the vaccine, good for you, it’s your choice. You want everyone else to get one and follow in your footsteps. Nah, I’m good.

The Canucks have $10M in cap space. The Wild need a center. Hughes is worth $5M. I think the Wild should offer sheet Pettersson for $9M. I don’t care if you’re onboard with that or not. I think the Wild should do it.

I think if you offer sheeted Pettersson for 9 mil you would be doing the Canucks a favor and they would match without blinking at a very reasonable price.

There was two flaws with your plan though. One Canucks would match , and secondly who in their right mind would volunteer to move to Minnesota where it constantly like living in a frigid wasteland where they talk funny? I don't know if Petey would be interested in learning to speak Fargo.

That region is a Scandinavian settlement more or less... and the Swedish/Norwegian influence in the accents are what you are calling "speaking Fargo". Petey would be in his home away from home but the organization wouldnt at all be appealing for him I think.

I knew that but anytime I can piss off a dumbass that comes in here and trolls , I am talking my shot. They talk like the Swedish Chef from the muppets.

What kind of English do they speak in Fargo?

Minnesotans can be touchy about this subject, since many of them (particularly around Minneapolis) speak General American English. This classic scene from Fargo will give you a good idea of the dialect used in the film that gets some Minnesotans hot under the collar. Watching this clip, I am struck by three things:

Great job at exemplifying ignorance in hockey and life. For example, Canuck cap space is not maxed at $10M. You might want to understand how things work before assuming and making judgements.

Lol. Obviously, you’ve never been to Minnesota. The breadth of your knowledge is a 25 year old movie. Pettersson is familiar with with cold temperatures. Vancouver is such a coveted destination. It sucks.

Vancouver has an insanely overpriced market. People are moving out to Fraser Valley and Squamish. They don’t need to live in cities. They work from home. But you’re not aware of that because you’re still stuck in Fargo 1996.

You have a lot of hubris if you think you can tick me off. I’m laughing at an intellectual lightweight.

I know as much about Minny ( seeing I could care less about the hillbillies ) as you know about Canucks Cap situation.

Love Megadeth. Weird to think where Metallica would have been if Mustaine stayed in the band long term.

Given Megadeth's consistency over a longer body of work than Metallica, one could make the argument...But really Metallica had those 4 epic albums in a row which Megadeth never really accomplished. Tough one.

- LordHumungous

Worldwide popularity Metallica (but I like underdogs)

I would maybe counter one was kinda tainted. Lars admitted to (frank)ing with the bass on ""Justice". (song wise steller though)

Megadeath just has more tunes I connect with.

Ah, yes, poopty Vancouver constantly in the top 10/20.

However, I do truly feel bad for those millionaire hockey players that are getting priced out of the Vancouver market. Such a shame.

Interesting question on AskReddit.. "the unvacinated shouldn’t be treated in hospitals, do you agree or disagree and why?"

Once you get past the Ja Rule and Howard Stern jokes, some interesting opinions...

There's a more mature version of this question that me and some other medical students in my class are discussing that will address some of the responses you're getting. The issue is not just whether or not people who are unvaccinated deserve to be treated. The issue is we are now at the point where we are rationing very scarce resources.

I'm of the opinion that not treating the unvaccinated who have severe covid is more akin to not giving smokers access to a lung transplant over those with congenital conditions. You aren't punishing the smoker. You are allocating the resources in a way that accounts for epidemiological concerns. For the general public health, not just any individual.

No, they shouldn't be mistreated because they made a bad decision. But when it comes to rationing, they absolutely should be bottom billing. Not because of the punishment factor, but because the survival of an anti-vaxxer over the survival of somebody who has a surgery postponed is a travesty. It just releases that person back into the world so they can infect others while punishing somebody else for not being more immediately sick (but still definitely sick).

That's the key here. We are rationing. This is not a normal time.

Similar to the Coyote cull in Stanley Park, I think it is time to start the cull of stupid people, so no, you don't treat the unvaccinated.

https://bc.ctvnews.ca/mob...vid-19-patients-1.5581373

When people are dying because the ICU's are full of the unvaccinated, then maybe these unvaccinated have no right to the medical help.

I would think that when someone dies, because the ICU's are filled with the unvaccinated, then all the unvaccinated that are plugging up the ICU should then be charged with murder.

They should be protesting outside Henry’s home, not the hospital. I think her unelected power has gone to her head.

I vote Motorhead
- dbot

Am a bit of a Motorhead fan myself but they don't approach the category of Metallica or Megadeth IMO. Great band and all just nowhere near their levels. Listen to Hawkwind as well if you like Lemmy.

Exactly. Love Bo as well but remember Bo also helped lead the BLM garbage last year. Whether he was pressured or not don't know and it doesn't really matter. Bo's political beliefs or personal health choice should not matter to anyone. Keep it to yourself Bo and shut the fu*ck up...do your job and win us a cup. Oh...and Captain like Iginla too and protect your fu*cking teammates lol

Ya the mastering on AJFA was never stellar. They have cleaned it up a bit with better bass on some of the newer re-issues but it' still the same. Kind of like the Maiden catalog. Love that band but their mastering and fidelity quality has been lacking especially on some of the newer vinyl re-issues. Which tells me the original recording sessions were never really all that well done. You hear this with a lot of Metal recordings of that era. Lots of treble for the radio play but never a good thick bass sound. Sucks.
