I think most of the sabres games are going to 6 to 3 or 4 ! Till they go thru a record number of goalies !! Till they sign buff 36 stripes 77 and homie to finish out the season!! Or the 2 zamboni drivers!! Hey Aymers from Carolina is a free agent? He and Houser have winning records!!

I thought Buffalo held that record after the carousel gmtm pulled in the mcEichel draft. I don’t remember how many but the goalie coach (drawing a blank, package deal with teddy, nhl tendy, great coach) would make em look good and gmtm would trade them. I think that was the year vinz suited up as well.

I looked it was only 5…

They hired two decent people and largely stayed out of their way…

They haven’t gotten lucky with the Sabres and refuse to hire experience at the top.

Sure. At the right price. That said, he'll still have rfa status at years end on a $3m cap hit. Which isn't bad for the Sabres if they want to re-sign him

1- because it may be contractually obligated to do so. Power they are not willing to give up on the hockey side.

2- mcD probably had just as much to do with bean as pegs. And they got lucky or they finally canned the marketing genius that was a bit to handsy.

I love the message mcD has brought. I love that bean has been really solid and in step with the coach. And I love that pegs is staying out of football decisions.

I still can’t stand that they have not hired experienced, respected, successful hockey people at the top of the organization. I Can’t stand that someone like Mario Lemieux knows enough to hire experienced hockey people at the top of his team, but pegs “knows more than the fans”. But are “still learning” 10 years later. Hell, Kim should have her Doctorate in Hockey operations after 10 years. And when you finally get someone respected in the door that lives 10 minutes away from the arena, it “what can you tell us that we don’t already know”. Yes, I can enjoy them staying out of the way of the bills football decisions and bash them for the crap they have made us endure on the hockey side.

I do like some of what GMKA has done, I liked meatball hockey. I am not happy they pissed away Samson, pissed away Jack and we are into Tank IV: When you thought they could Tank no more… and no that isn’t on Adams, he’s just trying to clean up Kim’s mess, she is the President of the team, the buck has to stop somewhere….
