Eichel ranked #17 on this list. What do you get for the 17th best player in the league? If he wasn't injured and coming off a 2 goal year he would undoubtedly be higher on the list.

He was 6th going into last season…. And that was coming off an abdominal injury, if I remember right.

When healthy, the dudes a stud on the ice. He might be a d bag off the ice and he has attended and graduated with honors from the Phil Kessel leadership academy but when it comes to simply playing the game, Jack can flat out play!

The pegulas lucked out with McDermott and beane. See the Sabres for being unlucky
- Sabretooth9

Regardless….
Football season just started & the Bills look to be good again

Now that’s something worth talking about

I’m glad Adams is holding out for the offer he wants
Can’t afford another ROR trade

I agree and playing in front of this D could hurt his confidence as well. If the D surprises me and plays adequately then maybe keep him up, if not have him play in Rochester and call him up for some games here and there.

You’re obviously happy with the Bills though
Maybe focus more on that?

We all agree the Sabres are a disaster
No need to dwell in the misery of it…. is there?
I just don’t see the point

Go Bills!

What's wrong with holding people accountable table for their actions and statement?
I mean, remember Orange Man Bad BS for months ?
Thought so.

It’s obviously frustrating that this all continues to linger
But it’s better than having him accept the garbage trade offers we’ve been hearing about

And to their credit….
The Pegulas seem to have learned from their mistake of pushing to get ROR out the door & giving Adams the time necessary to make a (hopefully) good deal

Yawn

Homie, not you, nor myself, nor ANYONE here has the power to “hold them accountable”
Blah blah blah
And that’s not what happens here anyways
It’s just b!tching to b!tch when you’re coming out of nowhere to take a jab at them

LOVE the job they’ve done with the Bills

And I’m not taking your bait of bringing politics into the discussion,
or your personal insults…..

I’ll hang up & NOT listen
Have a good night

Careful now, there isn’t a $7 million dollar bonus due yet… we know that’s what drove the ror trade

And I’m still not ready to give the pegs a pass. I like what gmka has done so far. And maybe pegs catches lightening in the bottle a second time. But until I see some success I’ll be cautiously optimistic.

True
But whatever the motivation was then, and is now, they haven’t repeated their previous (perceived) mistake
And I’m glad about that

Fixed it.

They hired two decent people and largely stayed out of their way…

They haven’t gotten lucky with the Sabres and refuse to hire experience at the top.

I mean he accepted the highest paid defensive player in the NFL. Did he really do something that noble?

Not sure how you came up with "noble"

Not even close imo. This team is made up of 90% NHL talent (a lot of 3rd line talent) with incredibly questionable goaltending. For all the comparisons to the '13-'15 teams, there are not a lot of Tyson Strachans, Jerry D'Amigos and Phil Varones on this team.

They will give up a ton of goals but they'll be more competitive than people think

That's almost impossibly bad.

The Sabres won't be that bad but will almost certainly set the record for post season drought at 11 years which will also probably never be broken

Might also be the first team to finish 31st and 32nd in the league, ever… I am pretty sure they finished 31st when Vegas entered.

Who's that (frank)face that got exceptional status last year? Bedard? Why not him too while we're at it.
