The notion that Kalynuk will be a top pair D-man is absurd. Guess people are forgetting how much his play fell off down the stretch. He will be a NHL player but top pair? I don't see it. 2nd pair and there is nothing wrong with that.

He did but i think he had more of an entitlement problem. I also said it cause of his huge fan base on this board. Gaudette with his diet issue managed may be just what the kid needs to take the next step.

I feel Bowman has done a good job of bringing in talent the last couple of years pressing players like Strome and Nylander to train and perform

That was always my favourite. Like saying that the player didnt do anything horrendous to put him in Q´s crosshairs. I told this to my boss once and she loved it.

When your defense sucks, guys who don't suck as much tend to look better. There wasn't a "top pairing" defenseman "at anytime in their future career" on the team last year.
