Swedes are self-disciplined. There was no "lockdown" in effect (in the peak of the crisis), just recommendations. People were still wearing masks, and the streets were empty.

Still, at some point a few months ago, it was going horribly and their prime minister admitted they should have been more aggressive and that their plan was a failure.

Here, we are a people of protesters, whining for everything, LIBARTÉ, etc. Minor inconveniences are confused with persecution.

what pisses me off is that the arguments against taking the damn shot are so weak (unless you have a medical condition, of course). "freedom" and "my body, my choice" are not logical arguments, and these same people now talk about a god damn segregation... I'm not 100% in favor of the vaccine passport, but if most of us were vaccinated we wouldn't even need it in the first place.

I'm on the flip side... people already need certain vaccinations to be able to take part in certain public activity (ie: kids have need to be vaccinated for decades to be allowed to attend school, and many other examples).

This is nothing new.

If people don't want to get vaccinated, that is their choice. But choices have consequences, and as such, they'd better be prepared to live with the imposed restrictions until they do get vaccinated.

That is how I see it.

This is nothing new.

If people don't want to get vaccinated, that is their choice. But choices have consequences, and as such, they'd better be prepared to live with the imposed restrictions until they do get vaccinated.
