The answer for me would be Hell Yes. You give up two first round picks , trade Hughes get back the first round picks and have a cost controlled top Dman at 4.65 mil for the next four years and he can acyually play D

Canucks haven't picked in the 1st round for 2 straight years, so it would be 4 straight years.

Chychrun would be our best defenseman and move Hughes down to his rightful spot as a 3rd pairing PP guy, or as a forward.
