On the other hand Carolina may be extending him before he ever reaches RFA status next year. I wouldn’t be surprised if a deal is already in place to extend him at a lower AAV than his current contract pays.

I’m sure Carolina has a number in mind, but KK may be considering banking on himself and playing the year out first. make that 6.1 a starting point in negotiations. He should be paired up with some great talent.

Looks like Gardiner is done for the season already, though. That doesn’t help.

He will be a Tampa Bay type LTIR and back for the playoffs.

The way that team has taken hits on defense, I’m not putting them down in ink. Not in this division. Good top end offense. The rest is shaky.

That’s a dangerous game, he falls on his face and he could be close to out of the league in a couple years. Can’t help but think he shouldn’t have been in the league at 18.

Reading this article this morning, I thought this graphic was interesting:

Now not sure Colorado will really get 119 points but I do believe the Metro will be a dog fight this year with a lot of teams in the hunt until the end.

Root, lol. Clarke would keep bringing in veteran D for depth and Keenan would refuse to play them. Iron Mike rarely deviated from his 4 man rotation of Howe, McCrimmon, Marsh & Crossman, except for spot shifts here and there. It’s what makes J.J. Daigneault scoring that huge goal in game 6 of the 87 SCF so shocking.

And see right there was the "Root" of his problem.

I'll leave now.

Looks pretty believable standing wise, on paper at least. Metro will probably be a difference of a handful of points at the end, not much separation amongst the top 6 teams.
