when he won't make a huge trade before the season, delete your account

thanks

And of course you know this, right.
Sure, you're welcome.

I think you are right. Poehling is probably ready to center the 4th but I'm not sure Evans is ready to center the 3rd. replacing Danault is a big task. and he's one concussion away of missing a considerable chunck of the season.
best scenario would be to have Evans on the 4th, with Poehling playing LW ready to jump in at center if needed.

Thank you, you get it.

He only made a trade for Dvorak after the offer sheet to KK

I think he will want to roll the dice on them to see what they can do first

trades are hard

you are probably right too, but that doesn't change the fact that the best case scenario would be to acquire another C. they have plenty of wingers, not so many centers, especially if you considere how fragile Evans is.

yeah I've already heard a few comments here and there saying that Dvorak should be considered more as Danault's replacement rather than KK's, but I have doubts that he can be as good of a "go-to shutdown guy" that Danault was... still the consensus about Dvorak seems to be that he is a decent 2-way player and can win faceoffs, I just haven't seen him play all that much so I'll wait to see him in action before praising or bashing the guy

Danault was a Selke nominee. you don't replace that easily.
and no, I don't expect Dvorak to be nomibated

exactly. let's hope Ducharme has a solid plan and that every player will buy into because losing a guy like that could have a considerable impact. what he was able to do was kind of underappreciated imho.

My apologies, I was under the impression Kuznetsov was still a FA. However Hertl has stated He'd like a change of scenery due to Kane.

I'm happy is in LA. I would hate to play againts him 6 or 7 times per season. I'm sure Suzuki is happy too.

Sharks might only move him at the deadline

pre season is about to start soon

sure I could be wrong, but if Bergevin really wanted another C before the season started, would that not happened already?

and I did mention Hertl in here before

read the guy wanted 8 millions next season

I expect Tomas Hertl or Kuznetsov with players leaving Montreal. Both better than Staal.
- Benny Blanco

Both have high price tags unless we offload Drouin and Byron it’s not happening

ohh for sure, can you imagine having to constantly hear about how he was able to shut down the habs' forwards? caliss... Suzuki better be ready, as he'll probably be heavily relied on, but I'm not that worried in his case, he's a very smart and talented player.
