Not really . It is not horrible but MTL let a first round pick go for probably a late round pick and a late third. The kid has completed two screwy years and he had his moments and he had some problems just like most young players. I think it is right up there with us letting Jake go.

Their centers were not strong last year and this year is even worse.

Giving praise to a GM for drafting and developing so poorly, drafting for position, and rushing prospects, is silly. He should never have drafted him in the first place, now he's letting a previous 3rd overall pick go, who plays a position they are in need of, all because of an offer sheet.

Edit- they just traded the higher 1st overall pick they have in 2022 and a 2nd in 2022 for Dvorak lol.
