He's going to be good. Solid pro, but he's already near his ceiling.

A 1st for him would be a steal for AZ.

depends who they get to play #2C. but yes Dvorak is an improvement on the 3rd, short term that is. long term depends how kk develops.

they don't have cap space to do that

Dvorak would be mtl number 2

hmmmm so if we got him cheaper and used the 1st to get something better, but honestly Id like to keep the 1st.
I dont see how CAR can lose their #1D goaltending amongst others and NOT think they wont have issues.
We must really suck if it so hard to replace our 1D

they're close for last season only, a season we all agree was the worst for Danault.
what about the previous season when Danault has 47 pts (5 on the PP) and Dvorak 38 (10 on the PP)?

- fidopro

Danault was also averaging 2 minutes of ice time more per game playing with Tatar and Gallagher while they were putting up career highs or close to it giving him tons of assists. Dvorak puts up more goals than Danault regularly.

Agreed but in a perfect world had we kept KK we still needed an actual 2.
KK and CD would have to play 2 here but ideally they would both be 3

and Danault doesn't get credit for that?
you asked me if I thought he was better than Dvorak. I said yes.
to me it's not even close tbh.

where there's a will there's a way. of course they would need to move some $$ out. but it is not impossible.

I'm curious to see what kind of season he'll have in LA. and if he'll play on the PP.
- fidopro

It'll be interesting indeed. Anyway the main point I'm making is I disagree Suzuki-Dvorak can't be a successful 1-2. I don't think the overall quality of player difference is much between him and Danault and we did well last year with a similar set up. We're not at all stellar down the middle, but I wouldnt call it terrible with Dvorak given the rest of our team is extremely well balanced on the wings. I think the D needs an upgrade, but on the whole I think the team would be decent after that.

Eichel is most likely the only elite C out there to be add and it would most likely backfire

looking at his stats, tomas hertl could be a better option but he is a UFA next summer

All this talk about Danault....
He's been gone for awhile now and we were in crap when he did.
The crap gets deeper if we lose KK as well.
We need 2 more C

bah, I never believed Eichel was a possibility. Hertl, some others... there's still time.
