I'm curious, do you think Danault is significantly better than Dvorak?
- apex123

yes.
he had more points without PP time.
and defensively it's not even close.

maybe the wingers were bad because they had a miscast center in AZ?
- mr.peanut

depends what you would expect out of a 2nd C?

And as much as I would like Crosby to come over, it won't happens.

yes, last season is different, but look at the few ones before that.
last season everyone here said Danault had a terrible season. started very very slow offensively.
he ended up with 24 pts. (0 on the PP)
Dvorak had 34, but 11 on the PP.

He had most goals on PP for ARI says he belongs there to me.
So remove his PP points and they are close, FO they are close and the $$$ so you take what you can get

Last season Dvorak had 31 points and Danault 24 points (Dvorak also has a larger percentage of his points as goals). Danault also had PP time last year https://www.quanthockey.c.../profile.php?player=13520.

Danault has also had the benefit of playing on better teams. Dvorak is clearly better offensively imo. Im sure Danault is better defensively, but Dvorak isn't bad either from what I've read.

they're close for last season only, a season we all agree was the worst for Danault.
what about the previous season when Danault has 47 pts (5 on the PP) and Dvorak 38 (10 on the PP)?

The fact Danault was losing PP time to Stool says it all about his offensive ability. Danault was definitely among the worst shooters on the team.

Im worried about losing KK as I still have Leclair syndrome lol
But Dvorak at 4.5 25 years old and some potential is better than SFA and Danault left so moot to discuss who is better

as I said, to me Dvorak is an improvement on kk for the #3C spot.

Yeah I peep some AZ games cause I have family down there. Never stood out.

Also a family member down there who has connections with the organization (my domi source). Was told that CD's role was more than what it should have been. If he's playing 3C mins and on the PK your team is fine. 2C and PP time means your team needs work.

Dvorak is younger and you could argue his stats were and are about to get better. Danault played with Tatar and Gally for years as well.
