Guy “ rest is a weapon “ Boucher was a garbage coach! I was a season ticket holder from day one and 24 more years after that. Nick Paul really impressed me, he seemed to have the puck most of the time he was on the ice. I am very happy that coach Smith recognizes his talent and hopefully moves him up to the second line where he will finally get the recognition he deserves.

In the Dorion interview this afternoon he said they're ok at C they have Norris, White, Tierney, Pinto, Bishop, Shaw but never mentioned Brown.
He also said he talked to L. Brown camp yesterday and they'll come to a compromise soon. Must be a deal brewing and he's part of it.

Nice to see Batherson commit but can't help but feel the term is a little long. Colin White has scared me. I do think Batherson is a legitimate top 9 forward, possibly more. Step in the right direction to get Brady to ink a deal. Good day.

I don't see similarities to White, personally. While he's playing on the top line, there's no Mark Stone carrying him the way White had.

Could be wrong though.

Hmm. VERY interesting. What do YOU think we should do with Logan Brown. I say trade him as soon as possible, or put him on the second line between Stützle and C. Brown.

Sink or swim situation. I’m done screwing around with Logan.

The contract given after essentially one year or nhl production is the similarity. Not the player specifically. I like Batherson. He has dynamic qualities that are key in top end forwards. There is always a bit of risk giving these kinds of contracts to young players. Can certainly pay off in the long run though. Sens pretty much need to offer young players term in the market they are in. Is what it is. Go Bath!

Can they not just ban this kind of obvious spam? This account is 1 day old, and has been used to post 5 times to this thread alone, including one where the term "interwebs" is used. That alone should be enough to prove it's some kind of damn 'bot, because no human being would say that in 2021.

Boy am I glad they let Davis get some playing time. And he looked about 100 times more confident in there than Nichols. It was nice to see the offence finally breakout and get more than 1 touchdown in a single game. I believe we had only 2 or 3 majors all season going into tonight. And our season high for points in one game was 16 (game 1 vs Edmonton). It was nice to almost double that.

It was a great night, despite Montreal dancing all over our defence. I was amazed how many people left early... like waaaaay early. I told my Dad these people are worse than Sens fans at leaving early.

Hope you enjoyed the game. I was trying to DM you here through HB, but it wasn't working for some reason. Maybe next game. I still need to meet you face to face to convince me you aren't EK. lol

It was perfect weather for football! And yes, too many leave early, just awful to see. Our rookie DB's looked awful, no Kanneh or Baltimore really hurt us tonight. I found the players on offense played harder for Davis than they did for Nichols too. But at least there is a bit of promise on offense. Only one game in the next few weeks though, in BC next weekend then a bye week. Definitely IM anytime on HB. And yes I am not EK lol! Glad you got to take in the game with family.

Oh yes, it was amazing to see how fast the players turned on Boucher after being within one goal of the Stanley Cup final.

Ben Johnson testing positive for steroids is the exact example I was going to bring up.

Next is the Jays winning the two championships

Per Simmer, Tkachuk camp really frustrated by the offer Ottawa have proposed. Not surprised, Melnyk still our owner

The best way to get Tkachuk to eventually sign longer-term may be something like a Little Big Horn move. Give him a bridge deal now, and then get Stutzle, Norris, and Sanderson to join Chabot/Batherson in signing major long-term deals over the next couple of years, in order to generate more of a pressure/expectation within the team for its leaders to make a long-term commitment. If Tkachuk still won't sign long-term after the bridge deal is up and all those other players have made their commitment, then you trade him and move on.

As long as I live I'll never forget Joe Carter's walk-off home run. I was probably in grade 5 or 6 at the time, but I remember it like it was yesterday. One of the few good memories from my childhood. lol

This is a really good strategy.

I'd also like to add, you've been absolutely killing it in the comments lately.

I ( my company ) was a Blue Jay season ticket holder when the Jays won the World Series. I only went to one game where Jack Morris crapped the bed in the first inning and we lost. Unfortunately for me I went on my holidays and had to give my tickets away to a client. He was ecstatic as his son in Winnipeg had built a Blue Jay shrine in their house so he could give him the tickets, programs etc.
