Haven't seen that data, but I wasn't concerned about the Hawks trading away their 1st round picks. If they continued with their mid to long term rebuild plan and with them being a projected bubble team drafting 12-20 for the next few years, no guarantee the future 1st rounders would turn into NHL studs. The NHL is not the NFL where any 1st rounder is a lock to make their team immediately and contribute some.

Whom would you rather have, Kokineimi or Dvorak. And on top of that, it boils down to Kokineimi and a first plus second round, for Dvorak.

On another topic, I agree with Ogilthorpe and others: the fewer Blackhawks in the Olympics, the better off we are.

Can't blame a player for wanting the honor and memory. But injuries and a tenuous NHL season correspond and that is unfair to the fans of all NHL teams. Once in Olympics then I would hope a player doesn't return again.

The Olympics hockey is a farce anyway. Some players will not want to play, some will be injured. The Olympic hockey set up should be a summer time or pre NHL season, like August/Sept maybe a late start to NHL season. Players could rest up, then train for the games as if they had a training camp. A full month preparation compared to what they will do this time - what, a week of preparation? Thank goodness it is only once in four years they do this.

Hope the meal was a hit. Sure sounded delish from a distance, at any rate. Will probably opt for DirecTV also, because they've been good to me over a long period of time. It went well. My niece is 26 and has recently gotten into cooking (I got the bug 10-15 years ago). I'm at cottage with her family,. She picked the menu, and we made it together. Great stuff for me, and how it tasted was a bonus.
