19th for the Hart Trophy
24th for the Lady Byng
10th for the Selke
1st team all-star
Yet all I've read for the past 2 hours is they are lazy, overpaid, non-backchecking bums.
Hey Leafs Nation: this is why we can't have nice things.

If that is McDavid taking the abuse, Nurse cross-checks Weber in the face next shift, and probably runs into Price accidently on purpose. I don't want Matthews fighting. Does Ovechkin fight? No. He may stir up some poop but its Wilson and others that take care of the rough stuff. - winsix
I’m sorry but if you’re “defined” as the teams top player yes you should hit back. That goes for McDavid as well and tbh I’m not a huge fan of ovechkin… nothing more than a little trouble making Russian with skill. I respect his skill but not his playing style. |

Nice
I’m guessing the same with happen with ACC eventually as well. The leafs owners just don’t want to be the first to implement it is all. |

The "drinking/eating" exception to masking is sure to pump up the beer and hotdog sales.

You've misread - it's Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment Limited who is bringing this in (although the province is also bringing it in). |

sorry I meant the MLSE (Leafs, Raps, TFC, Argos, etc...).
Rogers/Jays might be too late for them. Maybe if they make the playoffs. |

But to be clear: if I'm drinking overpriced ACC beer but not eating the terrible food, I can still take my mask off?
I shudder to think what they are going to raise the beer prices to.
Have you heard anything yet from MLSEL on your tix? |

Oh you’re right I did misread… I knew about the government rules starting on the 22nd but I thought the leafs were only going to look for the test results.
I’m even happier to hear that now. Less than 20% of the population is whining about it. They just need to shut up and go get it done.

The apology isn’t necessary I misread it.
Rogers could still put it through for rock concerts tho |

We could put a fair package deal together for Matthews-
Boeser
Myers
Bowie
Schenn
Petan
For Matthews and Dermott?
A Brian Burke type Blockbuster!

Without picks the deal sucks
And we’d be only trading him because he wants out of Canada |

No way on Demko. No GM is going to help Dubas out of his continuing Goaltending Gongshow without Kyle paying big. The league has him figured out, IMO. |

He’s under contract longer. I’m agreeing with you about him going to the states though. I said last week that 34 has TB,NYR,LA written all over him.
That’s well before this conversation, so no. |

Fair enough. I do honestly believe that tho… it’s one of the primary reasons the leafs consider themselves Stanley cup competitors right now imo |

As I said…. Currently Matthews is a fantastic player but I’m betting he’ll start to fade in 2-3 years
Only 23 and already using injuries to blame when he doesn’t perform top end
