When we didnt have players like this, the team results were so bad, they didnt make the playoffs.
Now we have, the team results are to 3-5in the league reg season but havent put it together the past 3 seasons in the playoffs.

Marner's mildly overpaid, but when slight overpayment is going to elite players, that's way better than some of the deadwood millions that are out there in the league. Marner's a great problem to have. He's going to have a mammoth season this year, including playoffs.

Like I said… OVER AND OVER today… he’s one of the best players in the league and will be for a couple more years… but his injuries have started occurring more often so after 2….maybe 3 years he’s going to start dropping off and it won’t be slowly
