I am sure one of those AHL vets they signed can sit the bench. Any long term injury then they call up someone else like York Morin Zamula.

I'd certainly prefer that the those 3 play a ton.

Sam will have to pass through waivers. He would probably be safe but I dont know if the organization would take the chance.

I think he would pass as well. IMO it is a chance you take as he needs to play. Then maybe down the line he may be able to actually help you.

Teams rosters will be set so you play the odds he passes through. If he doesn't so be it and yo wish Sam luck.

Yeah.. I was wondering that. You can't just place him in the cote suite for the year though.

So who's the enforcer? If some one goes after a player who jumps in?
You definitely need 1 in the line up.. so teams don't take liberty

- mageejames40

You definitely don't need one in the lineup.

Pelle doesnt belong anywhere near the HOF...played 1 full season 2 part seasons with lifetime 3.31 GAA and .887 Save %...purely based on his career not close . Add circumstances of death . Lets not water the HOF like Phils have there are lots of qualified candidates to consider
- hfc355

In his defense, those numbers were considered good in those days. You have to remember the era he played in.

With that said, I would like to see "31" back in circulation again.

That Untold Crimes and Penalties doc was really good. Basically a hockey and mob story in one.

Is there even an enforcer in the organization outside of Morin?
- ClaudeFather

The only thing that Morin enforces is the idea that he shouldn't be in the lineup.

This would be my ideal lineup opening night. Not sure what has to happen to NAK to make this happen.

Bill, I want to (and I am) thanking you for adding context to the babblings made here.
Your possession and subsequent sharing of your immense knowledge of the Flyers' history and having witnessed so much of it allows a POV few hold. With your delivery being readily constructed and presented clearly and concisely, it plays directly to my interests and persona (what there is of it).
I suspect you are more than a little involved to pull this off consistently.
Thanks for your dedication, the over-riding passion, in presenting a holistic approach to our aligned enthusiasms with the reliability of a metronome.
It's a great package that I look forward to reading every day.

Lamoriello locks up Beauvillier, Cizikas, Palmieri, and Sorokin to very cap friendly numbers.

At 80 years old he's still running circles around the League.

True, but we have to think that at least Allison, based on what he did last season, has a spot to lose.
- MBFlyerfan

I liked what I saw of Allison, but what he did last year will have zero impact on the decision of making the team this training camp.

I think they are solid deals

Casey C 2.5 but ends when he is 36? Like see the responses on this board if the Flyer did something similar

AB 3 years good cap, assuming short term due to cap, AB will be in his prime at the end of the contract

CP 4 x 5 mil, ends at 34, pretty sure 1/2 this board would like it and the other 1/2 hate it

Unless he gets hurt, Allison will be on the opening night Flyers roster.

Nope! Nothing he did or showed last year will move the precamp needle for him in any way.

Sam is the perfect 7th defenseman for this team, no don't see him getting waived. I sincerely hope AV puts Sam with Risto together when the Flyers play the Bruins, so they both can pummel the crap out of the Bruins!
