I'd put Ohlund up in the ROH long before I'd ever do Edler, at least Ohlund knew when it was time to hang them up and never refused to waive his NTC/NMC when he could have been traded to help make the team better. - DariusKnight
What a load of sh*t that players ' owe' it to the team to make it better after they leave. |

He claimed to 'love' the team so much, yet refused to waive his clause when a trade would have done him and the team a huge load of good. They don't 'owe' it to make the team better, but at the same time, if they're going to claim how much they love the city and team then they deserve to be called out for being hypocrites when they refuse to leave when it would served both their and the team interests for the better. The Sedins at least retired when it was clear that their contributions were not going to justify their slots on the team. Edler hung on long past his expiration date and should have done the same 3 years ago. |

Öhlund was more of a warrior, he would at least drop em occasionally. Edler was a more skilled player though. |

Until the OEL deal Edler and Canucks were expecting him to come back. In hindsight, if they knew the future, a TDL deal for a pick would have been nice.
This is the second troll of Canuck Swedes in 24hrs, is this a pattern? |

Nothing better to do on a rainy day of the last days of summer. My wife calls me He-Who-Stirs-The-Toilet after all, so yeah. Ask Retinalz, he knows how much of a poop disturber I am RL |
