I would enjoy these blogs much more if they had insight on the players. I can look up stats. But doesn’t look like anyone cares about the blog. Just continued nonsense from other comment sections. Bring on the season!! - Trevrrrgavo

I'd rather overpay a good young player than lose him for a late first and a third.
But I understand why the latter is alluring. - Scabeh
Agree with you and buyer beware on Eichel. He could be really good on a different team, and he could also be a high end version of Joffrey Lupul. On the plus side with the 25th pick Habs could get the next Fredrick Gauthier
Matter of preference probably, it's all equally bananas money wise nowadays. Concrete will stand the test of time better but even composite will probably outlive you.
Stamped can be super slippery in the winter, cedar will last forever but it withers and looks like poop if you don't maintain it. You can do some crazy stuff with composite as far as inlay designs and things of the like go but install will double...
I would probably go concrete and even do exposed, but I think that look is starting to be considered dated so... 🤷🏻♂️ - joel878
As long as the cedar isn’t shaded. I have some rot after 10 years on my deck...western red and it wasn’t cheap..sum female dog.
How deep is the rot? If it's still pretty much surface rot, take a power sander to it and then seal it. - joel878
When I first did it - put a nice natural sikkens on it and it shone golden - looked awesome - stained it in the shade - screwed all the boards on from underneath - (frank)ING PEELED AFTER LIKE 18 MONTHS - called Sikkens and they said “oh ya we’ve been having problems with that type”. Sent me some new stuff and it WAS (frank)ING JUNK TOO.

He was just named to the first All Star team and finished fourth in scoring. He and Matthews playing poorly in the playoffs. That needs to be addressed. If it can’t be, he needs to be moved. A bunch of people here have decided he can’t and seem angry. I said seem.
I see two issues before getting to he’s a playoff flop.
1. Cutdown regular season ice time for him and Matthews. They were among league leaders as I recall. One theory about Kamph and other adds is to build a real shut down third line. Matthews’ took a lot of D zone starts and wracked up too many minutes which took a toll (along with bad wrist) by playoffs.
2. What works in regular season, etc. They were too predictable, too stubborn to change. Maybe splitting them up and changing the mode might work. Less pretty play in regular season but move to a playoff style. Too lazy to do up lines. - Canada Cup
Keefe set them up for failure.
He failed to adjust, trying the reg season possession game.
