They are both losing in PR. If the second question in your poll is KA or an experienced GM handing this situation, it's a landslide as well. The problem is that one question is about petulance, the other about competence.

Good post and an experienced gm may have moved eichel already.

If eichel isnt around the team (being a crybaby) and not healthy enough to play ( and get a great return) .

Why not let him rot until he's healthy and not past July 1st 2022?

Next 2 drafts are looking great
Some of the players that have been offered (I'm assuming) get an extra looksee
Immediate assets will only help win. (Not trying to win)

On a side note , good to see you around lunaion πŸ™‹β€β™‚οΈ

Is tyler bass going to pull the ball left, even on the field goals he makes?

I appreciate the life lesson with the tickets coach☝️
I was able to save 8 with 20% down and keep the aisles seats in the 300's 🍺

- Boss34

Awesome, I just can't see burying $15k for that manyST's this season when presumptively you can get tickets for most games at deeply discounted prices.

I wonder how many ST's were dropped... if significant, that might make the black market supply a bit smaller.

If the bolded is true, which means the Sabres will have wasted 5 years and at the end when he is a UFA; get zero, zip, zilch, nada in return...
Why did you fight me so hard that a Replacement Surgery is too risky ( right, lol) as it might make his trade value zero, zip, zilch, nada?

Doesn't reconcile Bossy34

If a good return is desired, Sabr es need to take on some minor risk.

- IonSabres

4 years and a trade deadline (not 5 years)
My apologies!

I'm 50-50 on the medical procedure.

This may suprise you but, I'm not a doctor. πŸ™‚

If I'm kagm, I think he's playing his cards right.
Why give jackie the choice ? The Sabres are paying their doctors for their opinion. Why have team doctors if your gonna take a minor or major risk.

Eichel needs to play to be traded. Seams pretty clear at this point.

That's why I suggested the Olympics. He showcases himself and stays away from our kids. Win - win.

July 1st 2022 is the next due date uncle ion

Good point, I've been looking around already on stubhub.
Prices are Suprisingly high.

I've been wondering if most sth will opt out ,instead of selling seats for $10, thus boosting the market?

Less supply meets no demand. πŸ˜‰

Also, people may go to see a " different team". They are going to suck, but maybe they play ted2 hockey?

The Pandemic limited nights out around here thru the winter too.... people maybe looking for something to do.

This is already embarrassing for the team. Think Terry really wants to watch this play out all season?

Just gouge the Canadian teams.

Those games will sell out thus allowing STH to make some cash back.

I slept at a HI so obviously I'm highly qualified today.
If I'm Jack, I'd hold tight as well...come that July 1st deadline, KA will be twitching like Michael J Fox (no insult meant).

IMO, until that date, Adams has the upper hand...but the tide turns quickly.

I still think allowing him to have his surgery is best for all parties, under an Agreement that absolves Sabres liability and transfers the risk to Jack. As mentioned, BOTH surgeries have risk of failure...and If Jack is good with it, Sabres should be as well under the assumption a trade occurs soon thereafter.

I think we might get an idea of how many STH's used to come from Canada too. Can't imagine very many, if any, re-upped with the border still closed.

I'm placing 0 blame on the pegulas and Sabres

Guy signs contract for 80 million

His union signed off on the medical procedure decision.

He's under contract crying about being traded, while delaying and not agreeing to the medical terms.

The pegulas and kagm are playing it smart IMO.

You can't take fault them for the fans "just get it over " attitude. They are fans....

Canadian's are allowed to PAUSE their seats with 0% deposit.

Not sure as much as Canadians like hockey, this season is for them too

Is it telling that medical arbitration hasn't been sought yet? Does he know he'll lose?
- TheSabresTaco

I would think the CBA basically saying teams have final say in all Injuries has a lot to do with it.
Its a contractual obligation.

IMO< Replacement is his best option.

Thanks for the info. Smart move to do that. I gotta think they have a decent amount of Canadian STH's.

So, do you consider that
- it is highly likely in the next 25 years, Jack will likely need at least 1, perhaps two more fushion surgeries....by the time he is 50?
- if the Fushion Surgery fails, he is absolutely screwed. He can't then decide to have Replacement.
- if Replacement surgery fails, it is probable he could then revert back to Fushion

Those are the points that stick out to me, I try to put myself in his position. It is why in this case I side with him 100%.

Seems crazy to me people say "he signed the Agreement, he has to have the Surgery of Sabres choice", I do wonder if they would feel the same if it was their kid.

Because once you fuse discs together you lose pretty much all mobility at that segment and it affects other parts of the body as well.

Fusion cannot be undone either. Fusion surgery is very outdated, IMO.

Well depends on what stage fusion on mobility and wish we knew how bad the herniation was it could just be a little piece that has given away. I have a hard time putting my head around Dr. Cappuccino saying No to that Surgery unless he doesn't think it needs to be done, the guy does now everything about TDR.

This is a really excellent post

So I put 0 effort , thought or consideration into any of your good points. I'm generally a good human in regards to caring for/ about others. This post shows a lot about you πŸ‘

I really have a business relationship with jack. I have stock in jack the player. Being a sth as you know, is a Business. I directly pay his salary, he's an employee. Not a friend or coworker.

I really havent done enough research to feel like I was putting jack the human in danger. I trust the team doctor, and his opinion on correcting this injury.

Of course if this was a choice for a family member, I would research every procedure. That's not my relationship with jack though.... just trusting the team.

Seems like he's a conman boston jerk too, so maybe he's playing the Sabres. Especially if he's playing pick up hockey already. Boo ......

0 blame? That's pretty extreme. Injury aside, wasn't everyone expecting Jack to demand a trade this summer? I don't think anyone would say they've handled his injury well, but this isn't all about the injury.

KA doesn't look smart right now. He looks like a rookie GM in over his head. When the losing starts, the seats are empty, and every night the questions are about Jack, it's going become unbearable. I find it unbearable already.

If replacement fails, there is a chance of the dislodged disc interfering with the spinal cord and causing paralysis. Which the the biggest fear in a professional athlete in a contact sport.
