Eichel and the Peter's had a deadline in mind. August 1st. Their outburst fortified their need. The Sabres denied the request many months ago. You would have to think that if they even had a prayer to win an arb, they'd have gone for it in June.

Well from what I heard Jack never even finished his 12 week program here that was prescribed. He left and went back to Boston, yes he could have been doing his rehab there, but the Sabres don't even think he tried so that would hurt him in his Arbitration case to if true.
