I think Eichel needs the Sabres more than they need him at this point. KA seems set on not getting ROR'd and the Sabres don't care about the standings this year.

Eichel is going to sit for a while (probably without pay) imo. If they can agree on a surgery the best path is for him to put on the jersey again and show who he is.

That means both sides swallowing their pride

It depends truth be told, if they let him have the surgery he wants...

I don’t have the personality to understand jacks point of view at all. I mean Buffalo not letting jack get the surgery he wants is hard to forgive but it’s all black and white in the contract. Let’s be real jacks had a far from innocent history in Buffalo, but I guess you don’t get great at something if your a pacifist.

This will ultimately end with Jack getting traded, but the next few weeks could be a very deciding factor on:

What the Sabres get for Jack
How Jack discusses his time with the Sabres
How the Sabres look coming out of this after trading Jack

The relationship could be repaired and that would be good for both parties, but I think this still ends with an Eichel trade.

I think trading him now - while hurt, disgruntled and value depleted - is a huge mistake.

I hope KA takes this the distance. Promise him that when he's healthy, he gets his "C" back to let Eichel save face. Trade him after he proves his neck is right.

Both sides need to make it work to get a trade done. Enough of the talking from both parties

His recourse is arbitration or team-elected surgery. The Sabres have the pioneer of Eichel's preferred surgery on their side so I disagree that it's embarrassing for the Sabres.

Yeah he had a few nice throws, was surprised to that he played the whole half basically, but there were only 2 drives in the 1st Quarter. Yeah you should PM me for the game see what your doing,

I went to the home opener in 2019, and that was crazy, I can't wait for the first regular season with a full stadium a year after winning the division...

My brother got seasons this year, I plan on tailgating at 8am!

We will have to hook up, There's usually 6 of us that park at my Mom's. I will cook some breakfast sandwiches on the grill and then we usually walk up to the Hammer lot.
