In third pairing minutes I think he can be serviceable and get his career back on track.

Risto by every metric or statistic was a below replacement level defender (putting it mildly).

So yes, I do think just getting a servicable NHL body and removing a below average d-man for 1/5th the cost while picking up a 1st rounder, 2nd rounder and another below replacement level d-man (Haag) is extremely good business.

I think I've done my best to be real nice to the Biden Administration during all of this, especially
considering I disagree with them on every issue outside of leaving Afghanistan.

How does anyone alive since 1980 give the Taliban a list of names of Americans in Afghanistan? And then admit it!?!? It's one thing to negotiate and accept the reality the Taliban is going to run the country when we leave. it's quite another to give them a list of American names

I didn't vote in 2020 because Trump's support of Confederates, but good god this is disgraceful. And Joe Biden doesn't have a hostile Congress trying to impeach him while he's operating. He's looking like a rank amateur all by himself.

If Kamala Harris hadn't shown herself to be an empty suit she'd be the first woman in history to be the most powerful person on the planet already. Instead, she needs as many handlers as Joe Biden who apparently is told what reporters to call on and when.

I'd like to know who actually is in charge so I could tell them how goddamn incompetent a show they're running.

I've found it to be a healthy and entertaining forum in which to see different viewpoints.

Mental health is a real thing. If nothing else, all of us have in common an enjoyment of NHL hockey and the Buffalo Sabres in particular. It's often helpful and therapeutic for like-minded people to air their frustrations about things they have no power over to one another.

And, for what it's worth, I think we do a lot of hockey talk given our team has sucked for a decade and it's the end of August. The amount of content Hank puts out is staggering frankly.

We've already sold our military technology to China. You need to start reading and learning. Russia doesn't need our Tech, either - Why do you think Turkey has been buying military equipment from Russia despite being a NATO ally?

We may be spending more on our Military than any other country (actually all of them combined) but most of it is in R&D, upkeep, repairs and military bases more than actual production of technology. Not to mention, I've manufactured everything from starters to alternators to computer panels for tanks - believe me, our Army is operating like it's (frank)ing 1988 with how old and archaic our poop actually is.

FFS half our Navy fleet is over 30 years old at this point. That requires UPKEEP. You can't have a large Army without spending a lot of money to keep it running.

I dont believe any of that is accurate. He had a broken cheekbone as a result of the dump in. There wasn't a concussion to the best of my knowledge
