I missed my chance. I used to go on an annual fishing trip. There was talk of having a Depends night where we would all diaper up to sit around the fire and drink.
Only reason it got shot down is that one poor bastard would have the smoke blowing in his face all night because no one would be getting up to go to the washroom!

Gilbert is top 2 in every meaningful category for the rangers. Eli was great in those 2 playoffs and had 2 or 3 good seasons. He ended with a .500 record and a ton of INTs.

R.I.P. Rod Gilbert, the most deserving of first half century Rangers to be initially given the nickname "Mr. Ranger" for his great success & dedication both on & off the ice throughout his entire playing & post career with them. My condolences to the Gilbert and Rangers family, for which I was shaken and in shock over his sudden passing as a fan of this franchise since the late 1960's while a young child. Also R.I.P. Jimmy Hayes, with similar condolences to his brother in former Ranger Kevin & the entire Hayes family.

One record, though of less significant nature which Rod still holds for the Rangers, & initially held overall NHL wise for 23 seasons, is his NYR single game record of 16 Shots On Goal in a Feb., 1968 game at Montreal, leading to a 6-1 Rangers win in which he scored 4 goals on Habs goalie Rogie Vachon.

Rod held his single game NHL SOG record until March, 1991 when defenseman Ray Bourque broke it vs. the then Quebec Nordiques at Boston in a 3-3 OT Tie in the pre shootout era. Bourque tallied 19 SOG scoring 1 goal that game; prior to years later unlike unlucky Mr. Ranger great, finally winning a most deserved Stanley Cup with the relocated Nordiques in Colorado as the Avs. Rod is currently tied at second NHL overall with Marian Hossa, who matched his 16 SOG in a 2006 home game for the former Atlanta Thrashers when scoring 1 goal in a loss to the Canes. But unlike those two, Rod's 16 SOG resulted in him both scoring 3 more goals than each of them, & his team winning the game.

It's apparent overall that too many "people" not only do not respect statistical facts of medical nature as you mentioned; but also fail to understand both initially the CDC's words, followed immediately thereafter on a repetitive basis by President Biden's of this being now "A PANDEMIC OF THE UNVACCINATED." If those five words still will not convince the other 35% to 40% of Americans to get fully vaccinated, then nothing will when either or both politics and fear must otherwise rule them. That besides them alone refusing to wear masks away from home, & especially when gathered at any size indoor public location to prevent the spread of this greater serious & deadly Delta variant of Covid.

Let me explain how the vaccine works cause you don’t know, and I’m a tech guy but my wife said yes what I am about to say is accurate. The vaccine does NOT prevent you from getting it, it stops you from feeling the effects. You can still have it and you can spread it but the vaccination for the most part will prevent you from feeling it. But like I said there are breakthrough infections specifically with the delta variant. And yes I called anyone who doubts the science a dumb (frank). You have a death wish thats on you but do you feel the need to take people with you cause thats what will happen.
