He was their 3C for quite a while. Good defensively and on draws. Then they gave him a chance and after a while, his offence really took off.

if his play is closer to his 2019/2020 and 2nd half of last season level then he is head and shoulders above coutourier, even with the defensive disparity.

I think Zib is better defensively than some of us give him credit for. That play where he shoved the guy from behind to steal the puck and score was awesome. Zib might get even better on the defensive side with Gallant here.
