I think he is still on the roster the longer this goes the more likely I can see this happen.

I don't think anyone (Adams, other GMs) can figure out what his real value is until he his healthy.

That's where I've landed too. Jack has been paid and makes too much money for the Sabres to worry about his feelings if he plays in a Sabre jersey for another half season. Best thing Jack can do for all parties involved is show himself to be healthy.

Add 2 ounces simple syrup; 4 ounces brown liquor

Add crushed ice and stir til completely mixed and chilled

It's annoying how fans from other teams insist that Jack is this poor soul who is being medically kidnapped and held hostage by the Sabres. Not saying anyone would be thrilled about this situation but he has to shoulder some responsibility in this too.

Just tired of hearing of it. No one put a gun to his head and shoved $10MM/year into his pockets as he cried out and screamed No means No!

Front Office brought in guys such as Kane, Skinner, Hall, all thought to be "high skilled guys to play on his wing" & obviously we know how those moves worked out. Still, it isn't as if they didn't try.

Also slapped a C on him so that he didn't have to feel like he was in the shadow of that guy who went one pick before him. You know, the one he thinks he is better than.

Funny how prior to his availability being the biggest open secret in the league in a while, other fans/writers would blast him as "GM/Coach/Captain Eichel" and talk about how he was a locker room cancer. They were actually right about that part! Now, suddenly, everyone would LOVE to add him for two bags of pucks, 6-er of gatorade bottles and half his salary retained.

Jack got 80 million to lead this team and quit on the whole thing 3 years later. Yeah, it's sucked here for a while. But he could have been part of a solution and he wasn't. Last year's 18 games made that perfectly clear to me.

Sorry for the rant would just like to rip this bandaid off and move along.

I once heard someone say that the farther they get from age 16 the less sports means to them. I feel the same about Joel. It was good pop music for the time but it doesn't hold up.

Agree with this. Unless Quinn comes into camp and is without a doubt ready for the NHL, let him season at least one more in Roch and he can come up with Power and the next wave of youth in 1-2 seasons.
