I know this probably wasn't meant to be offensive, but what is going on down there is just horrendous. The footage of the civilians trying to gain access to the military planes leaving is just awful. Such a sad situation.

It's best to just look at the avi and scroll past. Otherwise it's a lot like giving an idiot a podium and a megaphone.

I know it states it is assumed that by posting here every has read the CoC, but I feel this should be posted for a select few.

1. Decisions made by Moderators are final
Mods are volunteers dedicated to keeping the forums civil and hockey talk flowing. If you don’t want to face bans, follow the code of conduct. Often Mods will warn before banning, but they aren’t required to. You are assumed to have read this Code of Conduct.

Occasionally a moderator will delete an offending post (and following posts that quote it) without banning. If that happens to you, consider yourself lucky to have avoided the ban and move on without comment.

I go make spicy Italian sausage with peppers and mushrooms and I miss something.

I have all notifications turned off. I never get email, sms or push notifications from any social media sites. I brows when I browse, but there is never a time where I’m like “OMG someone liked my post” or whatever.

Damn it, now I have to follow or like back, it’s too much pressure.

There are other refs around, everyone seems to have a different degree of involvement. I have seen deleted posts in here from time to time that someone has done.

I like this blog, like Carols updates, most of the posters are good guys and passionate about the Canucks, it’s when the topics take a sideways jump and non hockey personal beliefs get in the blog people get nasty.

I always get a chuckle when I get PM’s raging about abuse of authority, coddling posters, how to do my volunteer job.

In my experience hockey dads were the worst.

I'm pretty sure most of us don't want somebody poopting on their lawn.

The good news is, we're all entitled to exercise our freedom and leave anytime.
