If O’Brien turns out to be a player what’s the chances he signs with the flyers after his college career?

Chronic dislocating shoulders for hockey players seems to be on par with concussions as the kiss of doom for a career.
My bet is Frost goes same way as Rubstov...
I'd like to tease that bet to, Frost won't make it to New years Day.

Yea because injuries are all the same. In the same way that some players recover from concussions to be effective players and some don't. It's all the same.

Most of our D core were first round picks. If that isn’t enough to set you over the top then praying for a new young stud or a trade at the deadline for a difference-maker is not good management

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that all these players getting injuries between ages of 18-20. The human body really isn’t meant to take the punishment that hockey players do. At the speed of game now and fact 18-20 years typically aren’t physically developed as grown men it’s no surprise these injuries are more common now

Hasn’t this been the barometer for NHL players from the get go? If you can stay healthy you might have a career - if you can’t then who knows?

What didn't I get from this gibberish?
"Yea because injuries are all the same. In the same way that some players recover from concussions to be effective players and some don't. It's all the same."

You say all injuries are the same, then you take a left and talk about recovery to have a good career.

Say 80 percent or higher. It happens but I don’t think too much. Depending on his season I can see him, brink, and prob cates (he’s done) signing. Not sure what year attard is.

Noah Cates is the only one of these guys that will have that option this year. Only if they don’t sign after their senior year they have the option to sign with another club. Cates’ brother Jackson (undrafed) signed with Flyers last year. Noah will sign.

He is the exact type you want on the 4th line. Can play wing or center. Strong on the dot. Good PK guy. Strong and can play physical. Not sure how much he can chip in on offense but he’s got a decent game in college.

Attard was drafted at age 20 two years ago. He can be a free agent 30 days after NHL Central Registry receives official notice he is no longer a student. This is the way Kalynuk became a free agent.

You are missing the point. At the conclusion of this season he can quit school. Declare he is not a student and then be a UFA in 30 days. He doesn’t have to wait for his class to graduate. It’s the exact situation where Kalynuk left school after his junior year. Both were drafted at age 20 which makes a difference.

No. There definitely seems over about last 10 years or so to be way more young players that are suffering more serious injuries than in the past. Maybe not career ending but more than the broken finger type injuries. Ones that require more time missing type surgeries. I just think the speed of the game is huge factor. It’s one thing to play fast at 15/16/17 years old but when 18/19 playing against bigger developed players just seems like more injuries
