To be fair I'm not 100% sure he would be this bad. When he's on the radio (not in TV-annoying mode) I find him to be a great hockey head to listen to.

really? I don't necessarily find him super annoying but he seems to always find every player and their families are so great, and often has very vague or obvious assessments. but yeah that doesn't necessarily mean he's incompetent lol

Went the extra lengths to do some charity stuff for an organization I was working for right out of university. Didn't ask for a single thing (literally everybody else but Scottie Bowman had big asks) and even helped get others involved. Hockey aside, from my experience he's a really good dude |

Just because something was poorly planned, organized and executed doesn't change the intent. Attempted murder still uses the term murder. The goal was to overturn the results of an election...the fact it was executed by a bunch of morons who were like dogs chasing cars (wouldn't know what to do if they caught one) doesn't change that. In my experience people downplaying it after the fact tend to do so for reasons that line up with their political ideology...not saying you're doing that but I will say calling it a riot gone bad makes little to no sense as riots don't start out "good" in the first place anyway.
