"l want to stay there (Vancouver) now, but I also want to play for a team that's winning and has the chance to go far into the playoffs every year," Pettersson added. "I feel like we've got a chance to do that next year. If we have that chance when my next deal expires... I don't know. I just wanna play where there's a chance of winning." - Takemedrunkimhome
lots of players with potential in VAN, but it still feels like a cluster(frank) |

we just got the mask notice at work and they're wussily "recommending" it too.
i'm just gonna look into working from home again if poop gets real nuts. |

Back to working from home.
Here's the other thing about it being optional: while it's pure speculation on my part I'd bet the person who refuses to wear a mask on the "recommendation" is also the person who refuses to get vaxxed. I could be wrong but I'd be willing to be large sum on it |

we totally agree. i was actually sitting in my office talking to a girl from upstairs who is upset about the people here not following any rules (her 70 year old father just got it) and we were talking about that same aspect of it when the manager came around and handed us hard copies of the notice. the 3 people here who are the most hardcore non-mask-wearers have already loudly and proudly admitted that they aren't vaccinated and aren't getting vaccinated. you just know not all the maskless people we see in stores and stuff are vaccinated. |

any excuse apparently. it's a hoax. oh, it's not? it's to get trump out of office. oh it wasn't that either? well the depression of lockdown is more dangerous than the virus that's killed millions of people, etc. |

This whole situation is a challenge for me from a principle standpoint. I believe in being vigilant when there's an infringement on freedom, I believe in the idea if you own anything you own your own body...but at some point society and the greater good needs to supercede those positions |

dude. everything you mentioned was on the internet. it has to be true.
my personal favorite was rand paul spewing all sort of "expert" advice and was believed by the hardcore anti crowd.
never mind the fact the guy is an eye doctor. i mean, why believe people who have spent years studying infectious diseases when an eye doctor can tell you the truth. |

totally. people need to just stop coming up with the new excuses when the old ones didn't work and maybe just get on board and then we can get rid of this thing and they can go back to being idiots about their usual subjects. |

it's facts vs. excuses. people sticking their heads out the window and seeing what's actually going on in the world vs. people sticking their heads in the ground and refusing to believe what's obviously going on in the world. |

it's as if there's some sort of "rebellious" element to it, like we're all a bunch of fools that fell for ludicrous government directives while they were smart enough to not be assimilated by them |
