Im really annoyed by radical libertarian movements. Like if any kind of governemental decision in the name of the well being of the collectivity was an immoral attack at individual liberty. I had people complaining in my town that the townhall was planning to buy the church to convert it into a community room/Coffee Shop because it costs a certain amount of public money (which the municipality has). Like you prefer that we give grants to Amazon so they open a warehouse in Mississauga ? It's for the citizens my friend. So that living toghether is a nice experience instead of a chaotic race to get more ressources than your neighbour.
Also, spreading a deadly desease is a pretty big limitation to the individual liberty of people who want to be alive.

definitely, but people that refused the vaccine generally aren't looking at the same data and scientific facts, so the "debate" never really ends

I think it's their choice not to get vaccinated if they think the shot isn't worth the risk. I'm not taking my flu shots because I accept the risk of getting the flu every year...

it's been a joke here forever. People waiting days in the hallways catching things worse than what they went in for. - mr.peanut
yup, sounds exactly like what's going on here. I have a couple of friends who work there, and they're being asked to do 16-hour shifts, doesn't make any sense whatsoever

doesn't help that it's really hard to become a nurse in this province and the public sector won't even try and compete with the private sector with salaries

this will need to be addressed sooner rather than later, if we want to continue having competent healthcare workers that aren't on the brink of a burnout
