The Calgary thing?

Well that, and heโ€™s very inconsistent. One could almost call him lazy.

Yea I'm not overly-interested in him. Not with 1 year left on his deal with what it might take to land him.

Beau is inconsistent as well but does not seem lazy.

Just have no idea outside of Tarasenko who would be available at forward unless Lou is looking for defense?

Ah, that'll do it. I was really just mocking the "sources" guy for posting that info after CapFriendly already tweeted it

I still think Holmstrom is going to be good by the way.. Getting bigger and is going to be a good 2 way player .. definetely not a top 6 kid but could be a solid bottom 6. He is still very young and been in AHL for 2 years. . It's not like there were a bunch of guys at that point I was hoping they would grab either.. (I think the kid Boston took from Michigan was still around.. Beecher, or the USA D-man Johnson.. ).. but the pick we got late in second round was Buldoc who I think we all like a lot.

Philip Tomasino was taken with the next pick and was over a PPG in the AHL last season. That was who I was hoping for there, most people didn't even have Holmstrom ranked in the first round. Still can be a good player, but his AHL production hasn't been particularly impressive to date

Love the signing of pelech. He is key to the defense.

And who the heck is saying they hate trotz??

Is that guy on drugs?? Without him we are a top 5 lottery team every year. Argh that gets me angry.

I usually know the USA kids better (or kids in NCAA hockey) in general so really didn't know Tomasino well. Hoglander taken in second looks pretty good too.

There were a good number of picks that probably could've/should've been made over Holmstrom. Connor McMichael was taken with the pick after Tomasino and has looked real solid since then as well.

The Hockeyislife dude. He's just a troll. He'll just pop on and post stupid sh!t like he hates Trotz or his "sources" are telling him...(*whatever). Either he's a bonafide moron, he's trying to attract attention or he's really just screwing aroung to see what kind of reaction he gets from us. I don't know, pretty much stopped paying attention to him. Kind of like blue taco.

It's Bridge so I'm not surprised. Is there any sort of offensive talent on that team?

Holmstrom could still turn out to be a good player. He went to the AHL as an 18 year old so I didn't expect him to put up big numbers being that he was so young and coming of a couple seasons of long-term injuries. He's certainly got skill and he seems to have a good two-way game. I don't dislike the player, just think there were better options available. Good chance we could've traded out of the first round, got an extra pick or two, and taken him anyway.

Gotcha chief. Holmstrom may or may not turn out to be a good player. I would just not judge him on his numbers playing in Bridge. Crosby would have trouble putting up big numbers with the lack of talent in Bridge.

Hearing also we are getting closer on the much-anticipated Darnell Nurse extension in EDM. Expected to come in around 8x$9.25M
