I used to like it but talent level is so low now 3 down football doesn't work. The product is just bad to watch. Need to innovate and go to 4 downs but keep the larger field and end zones. No possession times very boring product right now.

It wasn't long ago the NFL was a run x3 then punt league, they tweaked rules and allowed offensive play to thrive.
The CFL needs to find a similar solution, I don't see why going to 4 downs is such a biggie , bigger field, and extra player should compensate .
The CFL has been defensively coached to boredom and erratic play.

They need to do away with the ratio and recognize that what makes the Canadian game great doesn't work in the 21st century when you're essentially competing with the NFL for TV ratings and the NFL is a juggernaut. Just accept the inevitable, merge with The Rock's XFL, play 4 down football on the CFL field and start the season right after the Super Bowl and the CFL would survive/thrive.
