He should be on the third line because he generates lots of offence, but only when the other team isn’t focusing on him. MTL let him do whatever he wanted, they focused solely on AM/MM. That’s why he got pts, they paid zero attention to him.

No Tavares to worry about, it’s obvious that they just left him alone. Which is playing with fire a little bit, Nylander can definitely finish. But they realized that it doesn’t really matter what Willy does as long as they shut down 34/16.
