What part are you not understanding that ex selkes agent is licking his chops? His client is going to get paid big time. Do you disagree with that? - hello it's me 2050
so should the Bruins let Bergeron walk? He is an FA next season |

Bill Meltzer: Quick Hits: Forward lines, - bmeltzer
I think those forward lines suck only because they look largely the same as the passed two seasons. Everyone remember the JvR-Laughton-Pitlick line? |

Will Bergeron be seeking an 8 year contract for 8 million per?

ummm those are 2 separate trades, not sure why you are grouping them together |

Right now I think the order of the division will be:
1. Islanders
2. Flyers
3. Carolina
4. Capitals
5. Penguins
6. Rangers
7. Devils
8. Columbus
I just don't think the Penguins are that good, and I think the Caps are getting older and have serious holes on defense. I think as the year goes on, it will be the Islanders, Flyers and Hurricanes battling it out for the top spot. - jd250

I would offer Aube-Kubel to Edmonton for Zack Kassian. First reason, I don’t really like NAK. Kassian is a tough and nasty player with size. I think Edmonton should at least consider this move. |

Wouldn’t work cap wise for the Flyers. Kassian makes 2.1 million more than NAK and this would leave only 4.9 million to re-sign both Hart and Sanheim with a 1 million cushion for call ups and bonuses |

is Coots 36?
Did Bergeron just come off 6.875 mil deal? What would be the dollars of Bergerons deal be adjusted for inflation? Would the Bruins sign that contract again? Sorry maybe I should call Bergeron Ex Selke

Funny 5 pages of a bunch of Drunk Ms Cleo predictions and not
one mention of Morgan Frost potentially being a bust.
My hope is kid works out and has a long successful Flyers career,
unfortunately,
my magic 8 ball screams he will be a AHL lifer |

The age/depth of the Caps/Pens could easily be exposed with a few injuries, but on paper theyre still contending teams.
I'm with you on the Hurricanes. They've made some sneaky good signings and have greath depth. They have 2-3 forward prospects knocking on the door of an already very young and talented group. Anti Raanta, if healthy, is an upgrade over all 3 goalies they started last year and he's their back-up. For a team that lost their number 1 dman, they might have (somehow) gotten better.

You asked me a question. I asked you a question back with more detail. You didn't answer said question.
Your question is irrelevant to "coots" as you specially asked about Bergeron and should boston resign him. I will answer your question yes they may look to resign him for 2 years at a reduced rate or at best the same. Boston however doesn't seem to have an issue letting players walk no matter who they are.

What would be even funnier is if ex selke tells them he is testing the free agent market. - hello it's me 2050
No one is re-signing. Not Couturier, not Giroux. Not even Hart or Sanheim. No one wants to play here. We are not a destination. |

Bergeron and Coots both get north of 8 mil. Bergeron won't get the term Coots gets.
Their is no scenario where Coots isn't resigned IMO. |

Can we all please stop pencilling g in at top line lw.
That’s bees spot. Put g with frost at 3c on 3rd line to teach frost
Thank you in advance |

What if an asteroid hits Earth before next summer and Coots never hits free agency?
We can do "what ifs" all day.

The Sabres are close to 30 million under the cap. Fletcher couldn't get them to retain some of Ristolainen's salary? I mean a first and second round pick for a UFA at year's end? That trade was malpractice. - PLindbergh31
Supposedly there were 6 other teams offering 1st round pick. Yeah I call bs. You’re right with we gave up retain at least a mil or so |

The point totals tells different story, G is more than capable of being a first line wing on this team. I’d be willing to flip flop him and Farabee on the top line but G is still one of the top dogs on this team. |

Why? He IS a first line caliber player. His stats last season bear that out. That is FACT.
