Yes and ya.
Funny how things changed.
He wasnt great in the playoffs, but reg season he fit in well. - Fakepartofme
He wasn't 100% in the playoffs and he did have to step into a different role briefly in the playoffs. It's too bad it didn't work about better for the Leafs and Foligno.
But I'd rather have Ritchie on this team.
If Kase is reasonably healthy on this team, that's a bonus. Doubt Dubas would have signed him if things looked iffy.

I like the Ritchie signing.
Kase is a pricey unknown (well pricey cause our cap situation sucks), hope he can play more than 40 - 50 games
Any Bruin fan that doesn't admit this is a good signing is full of crap. Ritchie did exactly what was asked of him last year. I watched every bruin game last year like most years and this guy is a better passer than people think. He goes to the front of the net and can get mean, he hits and gets involved although he has a long fuse he is a beast when motivated. I know the put down is he doesn't skate fast but the difference between last year and the first year on the B's was noticeable. I think he can play power play net presence and on one of the top two lines left wing. While your top four skate and create this guy can play the down low aspect they need. Just my opinion.
