I don't think Reeves for Ritchie is a good trade-off. When a dman like Weber, Chiarot or Edmundson starts the cross-checking non-sense, Ritchie can make them pay. For a goon like Reeves, Leafs can dress Gabriel. Gabriel will get pucnched out but not a big deal.

I like your thinking RR. Either one of those guys is exactly what I'm talking about...
Sandin, Tinordi/Chara could give Sandin the chill level he needs to put it all together this year.
Even Dermott, Tinordi/Chara could work out too.
Grabbing a guy like either of those two is the last move to make IMO.
(Besides signing or trading Rielly...Rielly should take $7m and call it a day. Kessel's $1.2 plus find $800k and done.)

Of the two I’d think Chara. I’d suspect Dermott out then. You can work Chara with Sandin and Lil on bottom pairing. He still is a big presence and if he helps develop Sandin’s physical edge?! Could be well worth it. Plus still has that heavy shot too from the point.

Would be fine. Absolutely love the Ritchie signing, hopefully will still love it when the season is over. Leafs finally get a guy that wins most of his fights. And as a bonus a guy with decent skill.
I love Thicc Nick.. was hoping Murray brought him back... he's a beast.. and Cassidy got him from taking the dumb penalties that hindered him with us.

Went to a fantastic new restaurant last night - Domaine MaMo.
We were talking with the owner afterwards, and he gave us each a free shot of tequila (this was after free limoncello).
I normally do not like (or drink) tequila.
Holy poop, it was good. It was like a fine Whiskey.
