They rebranded bc it wasn’t doing great
I know them

Also…. You glossed over my point
The area can’t support an influx of new bars & restaurants imo

- jdfitz77

As do I and one of the owners(now former) was well not doing his part.

And that area needs something.

It’s a void.

I see we’ve gone into looney town with the expectations for the Eichel return.
I don’t think NYR give us Fox and Lafreniere straight up, even if we retain salary for
Eichel.
This has gotten really farkin sideways. Could
Go down as one of the biggest black eyes on the franchise

If you’re a team(the ones that have been mentioned) looking to acquire Eichel, you have no untouchables.

Eichel is the best player involved in any deal(again with the teams that have been talked about).

You don’t move him unless you get your asking price. Good on Adams honestly.

There’s a big story that went into all that, which I’m not gonna get into here.

But regardless…..
Just bc there’s a void there doesn’t mean there’s enough ppl in the area to support all the new bars & restaurants u seemed to be talking about though either

I think we’re just gonna have to agree to disagree here dude

Never realized this but.

Had Gretzky retired after his 9 years in Edmonton, he’d have retired 3rd(at the time) in all time points.

3rd………

I’d tell his agent to start making calls to other GMs if he wants jack moved.

Give him a list of prospects that are acceptable (1).
Tell him ‘22 1st (2).
And you want two more pieces.

Maybe fish needs to stop female doging at Adams and start making some phone calls!

- Gr8daygo

Maybe all the GMs don’t want a banged up 25 year old that needs neck surgery.

It's all over the place, first it's a couple poopty prospects and a backup goalie then it's a franchise* defenseman.

*Still too early to tell, but entirely possible

Every company in a high cost of living city that allows their workers to go fully remote will eventually slash salaries if they know someone else moved to a low cost of living area.

A few people at my company have requested it, and the company granted it but made them consultants so they lose benefits like 401k and health insurance (which is $0 deductable and 100% free)

- rangerdanger94

Your company pays 100% of your health insurance? You have no premium coming out of your check every time your paid?

Fox has had an amazing first 2 seasons and easily could've won the Norris his rookie year as well.

He's not a big guy, and that's the only remaining question for me in terms of how he holds up physically, but he is very much a franchise defenseman via his play on ice.

Who turned down Calgary and Carolina already to ensure he plays in NYC. The Sabres also have Dahlin and Power, this trade is bad for the player and both organizations.

Laf, one of the worst rookie seasons for a number 1 OA.

A second rounder year unknown - value is minimal in a deal like this and lazy with no conditions.

As for what else has been offered? This is a blog comment section, filled by trolls and complainers. Fans who are tired of reading silly headlines will accept these petty trade offers, no way Adams retains salary let alone makes a deal of this low caliber.

The Sabres already got a 1st from 55 and 23. Why would you accept less for a player who is miles better than both combined?

So Eichel who is about to have neck surgery, is a slam dunk in value to a 23 year old first pairing defenseman who just won the Norris?

I'm not sure what to say other then prepare to be disappointed if you think a Norris winning defenseman and a 1st overall picked player coming back in a trade for Eichel isn't enough.

The nerve of talking about Lafreniere having a less than stellar rookie year when Eichel had TWO GOALS last season.

Really the question is what would the Sabres INCLUDE WITH Eichel to acquire a Norris trophy winner

I love the “package can START with Adam Fox”

Because it should start with a 23 year old Norris winner and get bigger from there.

It’s goddamn hilarious at this point

Then maybe Fish need to shut his big YAPPER and let the TOP 6 center in the WORLD get healthy (google, it’s worth the google). And if Fish and Jack don’t like the course of treatment maybe they should use the tools in the contract, like medical arbitration and not the media!

There are only 2 reasons that card hasn’t been played… 1) they know he’d lose or 2) he doesn’t really need surgery. And once he’s traded “rehab worked, it’s a miracle!”
None of us know the medical, non of us know the last time jack was evaluated by a team Dr. We do know he was playing some pickup hockey. And there are rumors of other activities that may or may not be concerning for someone that needs surgery.

The more fish talks. The lower jacks value goes the more entrenched Adams is.

Unless Fish’s goal is to say enough crap that it pisses Pegs off and He or the Mrs. steps in to say trade him for a bucket of Burglands. Which isn’t a bad strategy, I guess, given the Pegs history of meddling.

Bottom line, you can take your bucket of burglands and shove em.

Hold the line Adams.

1) get him healthy
2) ltir
3) prove his health
4) trade him.

And if that’s next offseason. Oh well.

If Fish doesn’t like it, call Rob, Billy, Bob, Chris or whoever and tell them to up the offer.

The rumors out there are that everyone is out on Eichel except the Rangers. I really wish the Rangers would back out also and let you guys watch your disgruntled star continue to be on pace for an 8 goal season.

Always the same on this thread. Their “insider” Gerbe said we would have to give up Sorokin, one of Dobson or Wahlstrom, and a 1st, to get Hall at the TDL. How’d that turn out?

It is and always has been hilarious.

Again, get him healthy, LTIR, Prove the health and trade him next offseason.

That’s the only way to not get ROR’d.

Zero reason to trade him for crap. Let him sit.
