Every company in a high cost of living city that allows their workers to go fully remote will eventually slash salaries if they know someone else moved to a low cost of living area.

A few people at my company have requested it, and the company granted it but made them consultants so they lose benefits like 401k and health insurance (which is $0 deductable and 100% free)

- rangerdanger94

They already have. But they still target above the average to keep you on the hook.

Throw in conditional 1st (top 10 protected) 2022 , turns into a 2023 1st

Laferierre
Fox
2nd
1st 2022 or 2023

Eichel
3rd

And a 3rd?

What year is their 2nd, what year did you decide to give away a 3rd round pick?

You’re going to pay Jack Eichel 15 million to play for 5 years for another organization while accepting mediocre return and giving away another asset.

There will be better offers than this without any salary retention.

Now that’s an offer we’d actually have to consider
Not bad

Much cheaper for the county to keep it in OP.

ECC South isn’t gonna be there much longer.

Sure, but with no benefits of development & extra tax revenue…. bc after the game, ppl just leave the area with nothing to do there

Yeah, I’d want more too
But it seems like that would be the best offer we’ve received to this date

1- there’s lots parking downtown, especially on Sundays when no one is working

2- meh, ppl will figure out how to get in & out of the area. Keeping ppl dt spending $$$ isn’t a bad thing for the Bills, the city, tax revenue, etc

3- there will be plenty of bars to party in- already are in fact

Those amenities are not good reasons to keep the stadium in a poor location- with nothing really around it

- jdfitz77

it sounds more like you want things other than going to the game.

Gotta think the peguals would chip in on the "area" renovations. Maybe something like the harbor center with hotels on site?

Build a cool golf range / mega 716

We tailgate at ECC 😀

I was kidding earlier but imagine the OP Sabres.

Maybe have a handful of outdoor games per season.

There’s more to building the stadium than just the 8-10 home games a year

We’re talking 1.5 BILLION dollars

So yeah…. The other stuff matters

The only things to do after a game is continuing to get smashed at one of the 4 bars that are walking distance…. Or go home

Those businesses won’t make it there depending on the Bills games
Not enough local population in that area

Plus, the only thing to do downtown in fall and winter is drink, and no bartender in their right mind would serve at least half the people coming out of the stadium

You’re 7 mins from the Village of Hamburg that has plenty of restaurants.

The one across from O’Neils changes every couple years, so i beg to differ

And it seemed like you were talking about adding more
The area barely supports what’s there as it is

The place across from O’Neils has had the same owner the past 4-5 yrs.

They rebranded the last time.

They rebranded bc it wasn’t doing great
I know them

Also…. You glossed over my point
The area can’t support an influx of new bars & restaurants imo
