To be fair, not throwing 30 INT really helped.

Winston's yardage and TDs were very good.

- Wetbandit1

bad teams get a lot of passing yards coming from behind

look at watson, ryan and herbert's stats last year

3 of the top 6 for passing yards

blake bortles was a great fantasy qb, terrible nfl qb for great for fantasy

Tom Brady has 17 TD & 12 INT & a 89.4 Passer Rating in his Conference Championship game wins.

Tom Brady has 21 TD & 17 INT & a 82.7 Passer Rating in his Conference Championships games overall.

Tom Brady relied on elite defences just as much as they relied on him.

If Aaron Rodgers had the benefit of being average in the playoffs how many more rings would he have ?

anyone else wonder why jack's agents are pleading their case to the media instead of an arbitrator?

Because they know it’s best (worse to get moved unless there’s some KA cavature) play for their client to get what he wants. Med arb they would lose and they know it.

Yeah, he said he’s done thousands of these surgeries including NFL players, rugby players, and mma competitors.

The doctor said the failure rate for the disc replacement surgery is 4.8% while it’s 20%
for the fusion. He also said that the fusion would likely have to be done again in 10 years and degeneration occurs over a lifetime leading to serious problems with movement in his later years. The fusion shifts the stress to the surrounding discs.

- Minnyhock

Right
And those are ALL positives to get the type of surgery Jack wants (the replacement, NOT the fusion)

If I’m GMKA I allow Jack to have the surgery. Then once healed from it I let him play himself out of this mess. He plays good, teams will line up to trade for him. He whines and looks to the sky every time he misses on an opportunity, then he has 5 more years of Hockey Hell. Eff that entitled mbumhole and The Peters for that matter!

Bingo!

The art in deal, isn't to piss down each others leg, but find a way out where both sides can find a win.

Unfortunately, this gets complicated with potentially high risk and very high stakes...and as we have seen; high emotions. So, be professional and find a solution each side is comfortable with.

Jack wants the surgery he feels is best for him...his body, he should have what he is comfortable with...Disc Replacement. Also, consider for a moment that if it fails...the "fix" at that point is Fusion...as stated by his Dr.

Sabres want to avoid Risk of having to owe their player $M's if the surgery causes him to be unable to play. Also, the Risk of losing a highly skilled asset from their depleted roster.

Sabres should offer a concession from both parties...
-Sabres allow Jack to have the surgery of his choice, but with significant conditions...such that they are released from all financial obligations if he is unable to return to play in substantially the same pre-injury condition with 4 months of surgery, not to exceed a specified date (say January 1, 2022).
-Sabres pay for the Surgery if not covered by insurance, unless the Replacement Surgery fails to return him to play as above...in which case, Jack assumes liability to renumerate the Sabres for the Surgery expense of his choice.
-Sabres will pay for Fusion Surgery should the Replacement Surgery fails and Jack elects to have it "fixed" via the method recommended by his Dr and the Sabres Dr.

Boom...win/win.
Jack gets what he wants, Sabres are made whole financially if it doesn't work.
Sabres are now in position to trade him after several weeks when he proves he is back to normal.

No, onto finding a solution to the Dela Variant and then creating long lasting peace in the Middle East.

My work is done here.

Nope. I think the fact that he played at a pick-up game this week tells us everything we need to know.

After eichel remains with the Sabres and plays a handful of games this season, I think next offseason/ draft would help the Sabres tremendously.

Aside from the injury hopefully proven not to be an issue.

Probably get a better idea of the 2022 draft position and get a 2023 1st rounder as well.

The counter argument is securing tge disc so it doesn’t pop out given tge force of hockey. If it does, good chance of immediate paralysis.

That hasn’t happened in any other sport with this surgery though…. Including football, rugby, mma,
etc etc

There’s risk with ANY neck surgery of course

Not 5100

And Watson only threw 7 INT last year, not 30.

Herbert's QBR was 69.5 which is pretty good; good for 13th in the NFL.

The Bucs offense was always there, they just needed someone to not give the ball away twice a game

This podcast makes it clear why Eichel wants the disc replacement and not the fusion.

You mean a dr. pumping himself and his surgery makes it clear? Come on man its 2021 people should know by now to look for neutral information and sources.

Got my butter lovers popped corn all ready. Heck I have a 5 years supply if need be. 😎👍🏒 Sabres in control and as what was stated. Eichel isn't helping things move along any faster. Just get the preferred fusion surgery. It is proven and all the NHL teams approve of it. Why does he got to be a little female dog about it. Have some class for cripe sakes. Help us help you. lol Oh Popped corn is ready 😎👍🏒

From a doctor in a video that Beady posted here, with the doctors limited knowledge (certainly not as much as Jack’s doctor) of the situation recommended against it. Sounds like it hasn’t been done as much as they’re saying it has.

But I have NO idea of the validity of either.

If only there were a process for both sides to come together and present their case to a neutral third party. Maybe the media is tge best place to solve it.
