I think the current Rangers offer is pretty close to there, just with a downgrade in Nils/Schneider who are our #1 and #2 D prospects, to Jones who is our #3 D prospect.

I truly think Kravstov is similar if not better value than Chytil, but I would be okay with either going back in a package to Buffalo.

That was a deal that didn't work out for both sides. That would be the opposite of what I'm saying.

The other teams need a good deal to help show the Sabres can be worked with, the Sabres need the deal to work so they don't look weak - ROR trade.

The idea is that when you deal with the Sabres you do get good value and they're fair, but don't pull the wool over their eyes because it ain't happening.

The ROR trade is part of the reason teams are low balling, they're trying to test if the GM was the one that flinched there or the owners. If the owners, then will they do it again.

That's why KA needs to hold the line.

I think we need that salary retained, so that we can extend Zib.

I think the Eichel deal only makes sense for the Rangers if it allows the Rangers to keep Zib and have a 1-2 punch with him and Eichel.

Otherwise, it's essentially like we're losing Kakko, Georgiev, Nils, two 1sts, and Zib for Eichel.
