I totally agree. He's a great utility player, and with the loss of Danault, he plays a more defensive style. I see him on a line with Armia, and maybe KK... The Finnish line did well for us at times.

I'm still optimistic of his potential. Adding a center is more of an insurance thing. I think we need the PMD more tbh. I think Savard on his own is an inadequate replacement to Weber, and in any case not the PMD for the PP we need.

We need the PMD for both situations. We struggled on the cycle both 5 on 5 and on the PP. Zone exits and zone entry were another problem. Our PP didn't look bad because until Tampa because the forwards did a good job, but ideally said defensemen has a decent point shot. I'm not sure if Weber or Petry hit one slap shot on net the whole playoffs, so all the focus was on the forwards.
