Yeah, I still kinda like those movies. I watched the first one with the kid just last night. Somewhat awkward with the sexual conversation content, but it's getting hard to find anything without it these days that isn't intended for pre-schoolers.

those movies don't hold up for me today. same with the old school sandler movies (the last 20 years of sandler movies have been terrible in their own special way, just not romanticized like the happy gilmores and such). just so lazy and hacky. some good quotes and gifs stood the test of time though

Biggest mystery to me is how Julie Bowen can look better in Modern Family in 2019 than she did in 1996!

I brought this up recently too. Happy Gilmour I can still watch, Billy Madison is trash. Sandler in general is borderline unwatchable for me at this point. Jim Carrey too.


Austin Powers is pretty damn dumb but I don't get as annoyed at it for existing like the others.

Yeah, Sandlers stuff has aged extremely poorly.

Carrey too for a lot of it. Oddly enough his more serious roles have aged a lot better. The Cable Guy is still alright if you view it through a different lens.

My daughter's nickname is Head after that movie.

Nobody looks good with that haircut she had. I didn't even recognize her in that movie. Looked her up and was shocked it was the girl from Boston Legal.
