The Sabres have signed forward Ryan MacInnis to a one-year, two-way contract for $750,000.

He had no points in 16 games with Columbus this year.

His dad is Al MacInnis, who could probably play the right side on the Sabres' third pair despite being 58 years old.

Was listening to NHL Network on XM while cutting the grass and they had Luc Robataille on. Hearing him talk about their off-season moves I find it really hard to believe that LA was ever really interested. He talks about Arvidson and Danault being good locker room guys to mentor the kids along with Kopitar. He said their focus was making their room better.
